The Dandenong Basketball Association are thrilled to announce that they will be establishing a Hall of Fame, with the inaugural major event to be held in March 2017.
The intention of the Hall of Fame will be to honour and recognise the efforts made by players, coaches, referees and volunteers who have significantly contributed to the success of the DBA over the past 57 years.
Since its inception in 1959, the Dandenong Basketball Association (DBA) has been home to countless numbers of basketball teams ranging from domestic to national. It has grown into one of the largest Associations in Australia, with thousands of players, officials, referees and administrators representing the DBA. To recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals throughout its history, the DBA Hall of Fame will officially recognise these achievements - the DBA are now calling for nominations.
