Dandenong Basketball is excited to announce that Southside Flyers stars Rebecca Cole, Aimie Clydesdale and Louella Tomlinson have signed on to compete with our elite Senior Women’s program for the 2020 NBL1 South season.

All three will join our NBL1 Rangers Women once their WNBL Finals campaign is completed, with the team currently enjoying a 1-0 Semi Final series lead after last night’s victory here at Dandenong Stadium.

Both Clydesdale and Cole will re-join the Rangers after strong inaugural NBL1 campaigns while Tomlinson will join the team after multiple seasons with the Melbourne Tigers.

DBA CEO Stephen Walter stated that he is thrilled to have all three WNBL stars on board for 2020, continuing the legacy of elite women’s basketball here in Dandenong.

“The Southside Flyers have done a wonderful job in continuing the legacy of our WNBL program and I am confident that each of these women will exceed expectations when they lead our Senior Women’s team in 2020”, said Walter.

“The fact that all three of these players have a history with our former WNBL Dandenong Rangers team is an added bonus on top of their superb talents. I have no doubts that they know what it means to be a Dandenong Ranger and look forward to seeing them put on a show under Head Coach Lloyd Klaman’s guidance each week of the NBL1 season.”

The Dandenong Rangers NBL1 season will tip off here at Dandenong Stadium on Sunday April 19th with membership & ticketing information to be released soon.
