DBA would like to congratulate Nyadiew Puoch, Dallas Loughridge & Hailey Merrigan on their selection to the 2020 Victorian teams for the upcoming Australian Junior Championships, with all three headed to Ballarat for the tournament this April.
Nyadiew and Dallas have been selected in their first year of eligibility as bottom age U18’s, while Hailey will feature for the first time as well after being selected as a VIC Metro emergency in 2019.
Both Nyadiew and Hailey will see a familar Dandenong face on the bench, with NBL1 Ranger Women’s Coach Lloyd Klaman set to join them as an assistant coach on the VIC Metro team. Dallas Loughride will continue to represent her native Warragul on the VIC Country as she has done in previous AJC tournaments.
Held in April this year in Ballarat, there are five sides representing Victoria at the second junior national championship of the year, following February’s Australian Under-20 and Ivor Burge tournaments held at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, ACT.
Good luck Rangers, and congratulations once again on your selection! We know you’ll do us proud.
