DBA would like to congratulate all 22 Junior Ranger stars selected to Basketball Victoria’s State Development Program for 2021, with 9 Ranger Boys and 11 Ranger Girls chosen to represent Dandenong in the next stage of BV’s high-performance pathway.
Competing against the state’s best young basketball talent, these Rangers were selected after a thorough selection process and should be proud of their accomplishment after missing out on basketball in most of 2020.
Ranger alumni and BV Boys High Performance Head Coach, Ash Arnott, said the lead-up performances at the SDP tryouts means a bright future for the development program.
“The competitive nature of our boys (and girls) at tryouts was impressive to see and highlights the strong foundations of basketball our athletes already possess,” said Arnott.
“Now in the SDP program, these skills will be built upon and these athletes will be shaped as individuals both on and off the court.”
