Aussie Hoops is the fun and exciting national program for children aged 5 – 12.

The Aussie Hoops program uses a “game sense” approach where children learn basketball through playing lots of games and activities. Aussie Hoops is for all boys and girls up to 12 years of age and ALL abilities. Basketball is a fantastic sport that can be played all year round, indoors or outdoors and you don’t even need a hoop!

There are plenty of activities for the kids to do. Coaches use handy session plans provided through Dandenong Basketball Association. The children are having so much fun, they don’t even realise they’re learning!

Aussie Hoops is an 8-week program delivered at Dandenong Stadium.
Dandenong Basketball runs weekly programs on:

– Monday, Tuesday, & Friday, 4:30pm – 5:30pm, Joey’s (ages 5-7) – Introduction, Participation, Skills & Drills, Small Sided Games

– Monday & Friday, 5:30 – 6:30pm, Boomers (ages 7-10) – Skills & Drills, Small Sided Games, 5 on 5

The cost for the Monday and Friday programs for Term 1, 2021 (60 minute sessions) is $90 however, if you already received your Aussie Hoops pack, the cost is $70.
